THE BEARDCAP/SKEGGHÚFAN
Oh, the Awesomeness that is this post. I see a lot of gimmicky apparel as you can imagine but I rather enjoyed coming across this next one. It's called the Beardcap and it is exactly what you think it is. A beard, that is a cap. The beardcap refers to the traditional "lambshed-hood" which was used my farmers from Iceland who had to walk long distances in heavy snow-storms. DAVID BECKHAM AND H&M COLLABORATE ON UNDERWEAR RANGE
Proud new papa of Harper Seven, David Beckham is said to add another venture to his list of achievements. While a fashion collaboration would make perfect sense to encapsulate his style (he is after all one of the best dressed celebrities in the world) he is going another route. In February 2012 David will join celebrities like Kate Moss and Madonna to collaborate with a large design chain with his own range of H&M, but Beckham will focus on underwear. He is after all famous for those near-naked ads for Armani so the collaboration makes perfect sense.
The Guardian spoke to Simon Fuller, Beckham's business partner, who was also behind the successful launch of Victoria Beckham's fashion label, said the collaboration was an important step for the footballer. "H&M's enthusiasm and support for this venture, combined with their scale and reach, will continue to enhance the power of David's image around the world."

D&G LOOK-BOOK FEATURING SACHA M'BAYE
Things are looking good for this Senegalese model. Sacha M'Baye was the first male model of colour to appear in a Burberry campaign (this one) and work is just piling in. ELIZABETH GALLOWAY GRADUATES SHOW 29 JULY 2011
I had some wonderful conversation during fashion week that centered predominantly around mens fashion in this country. We have so much talent that we need to support and it all begins (for some) at fashion college. Elizabeth Galloway is one of those schools and their graduate show will take place at the Protea Hotel in Techno Park, Stellenbosch.
For the show each graduate has designed three garments as part of a self-expression range. This could not be a simpler or better theme, they can really go all out for this one.

With their latest post-apocalyptic-stranded-on-a-desert-island-campaign they enlisted Andrew Smith, Josh Breech, Zhao Lei, Matteo Martari and Jonas Kesseler to star.
